WordCamp Portland 2011 will be held at the Eliot Center at 1226 SW Salmon St., Portland, OR 97205, an amazing space that will allow for a blend of planned presentations and unconference sessions. Β It’s also exciting that we’ll have the room to expand attendance somewhat this year.

I definitley need to attend this Camp. Do I have to register?
Hi Barry, you definitely need to register – we’ll be opening ticket sales up next week! We look forward to seeing you there.
Just FYI if you aren’t familiar with the venue the address is :
1011 Southwest 13th, Portland, OR
we’re ready! we want to register!
Tickets will go on sale this week, don’t you worry! Meanwhile, perhaps you’d like to buy a bridge? I’m certain we have one in your size! π
A bridge sounds wonderful, but I think a plane ticket and an entrance fee is all we can afford.
I went to WordCamp Phoenix back in 2008 or 2009…have been really wanting to go to another one. I’m a travel blogger for http://www.MikesRoadTrip.com and am in the Seattle area now…I think I can make it down to Portland for this. Any chance of getting on a list to notify me when tickets go on sales?
Thanks,
Mike
Mike! They’re on sale right now! We’d love to have you attend.
I need to know what times the Word Camp runs on both days so that I can schedule transportation and hotels. I can’t seem to find it on the site. Can someone please tell me?
We have some general times on the Schedule page: https://2011.portland.wordcamp.org/schedule/ and will be updating with more details shortly. The program will likely start around 8:30-9:00 on Saturday and at 1:30 on Sunday, wrapping up each day between 5-5:30.
Thanks! That really helps.
Will there be WiFi at the conference? Assuming yes, but ya’ never know…
David, we will have wifi; it was a close thing, though. π
