By sponsoring WordCamp Portland 2011, you show your support for the WordPress project, that free open source software that has enriched your life and/or business; you also contribute to the growth of your local WordPress community. WordCamp Portland has sold out for all previous events (three years); our attendees include entrepreneurs, bloggers, developers, designers, small business owners, publishers, and open source enthusiasts. Previous WordCamps in Portland have been attended by people all over the Pacific Northwest.
We’re not only looking for cash donations! We’re also delighted by in-kind donations: Can you do the printing? Want to provide coffee for our attendees? Supply snacks or (yum) lunch? Provide lanyards? Pay for videography? Throw a party? If it’s free (and not covered with your logo), we’ll probably take it!
If you’re interested in sponsoring WordCamp Portland this year, please email us at portland@wordcamp.org or comment (it will stay private) with the following information:
- Your name
- Your company’s name
- An email you can be reached at
- The sponsorship level or in-kind sponsorship you’re interested in
- Why you’re sponsoring WordCamp (we’re just curious!)
