Portland, has both Uber and Lyft, available through their apps on your smartphone.
Car Rentals
Portland has all major Car Rental services in town, including Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Alamo, etc. They are located at the PDX Airport as well as various locations around town. Check their on-line web sites or Apps for a location convenient for you.
Trimet – Light Rail MAX, Streetcar & Bus
Our local Public Transport system is called Trimet, and it encompasses our Bus, Light Rail MAX trains, Streetcar and WES Commuter Rail system. They have a great web site to help plan your travel from one destination to another. There are also great Apps on either Google Android or Apple iPhone for planning your travel and purchasing tickets, such as the PDX Bus App, The Trimet Tickets App for Apple iOS or Google Android, or the HOP Card Fastpass Apps. For tickets, these Apps take Apple Pay, G Pay or Samsung Pay.
Please note: The #39 bus route that usually runs to Lewis & Clark does NOT operate on the weekends.
