Lightning Talk Speaker

I’m a native Oregonian, artist entrepreneur, community volunteer, and president of Waterlink Web. The company slogan, “connecting your customers with you”, means each site I build is original, designed to meet your business needs, and is fully accessible.

In 2012 I build my first website — for an apiary my husband and I own — and was hooked. That same year I entered a specialized computer program at Portland Community College. A year and one-half later I completed the program, earning a certificate in Website Development and Design.

In 2014 I launched Waterlink Web. I love the process of helping businesses, nonprofits, online educators, and other entrepreneurs succeed with custom websites built specifically for them. We are located in St. Johns, Portland’s northern neighborhood. The office is partly solar-powered and on a Gold Certified Backyard Habitat property.

I help organize the Portland WordPress MeetUp events. As part of the WordPress community I gladly share techniques for protecting your website from hackers, Search Engine Optimization, and more. I also volunteer on the board of the St. Johns Boosters and Friends of Pier park, whose websites I built and maintain.
