Lunch Option: Birds of a Feather
This year, we’re offering the opportunity to engage in conversation around a specific topic during lunch with Birds of a Feather gatherings. These provide opportunity to dive deeper by meeting with others with similar interests. They are by no means compulsory – you’re welcome to have a more free-form lunch wherever and with whomever you choose.
To join a BoF discussion, just pick up your lunch and show up at the topic location – if one you choose is full, just find a different one. Some of the gatherings will have Featured Experts, who our speaker team has identified as people who, in addition to our session speakers, can lend extensive insight into a topic and who can recommend resources.
Other gatherings are more free-form discussion, featuring the questions and answers of fellow attendees and no appointed expert. Please use this as a forum to engage in discussion, Q&A’s, trade resources, and network.

DreamHost
Ah, Portland! How can you not love a city where “There’s fluoride in that water” is grounds for an all-out, shirts-off, curly-mustachioed battle of fisticuffs? Truly, this city has art, it has flavor, and it has passion. That’s why we’re headed your way!
DreamHost is proud to be a sponsor of WordCamp Portland 2017!
Here’s a crazy statistic! On average we have 1.8 WordPress installations for every single customer at DreamHost. That’s a whole lot of WordPress all over our servers. With WordPress powering over a quarter of all sites on the web, it’s hard to see why anyone wouldn’t get excited about its incredible ability to give voices to the voiceless through lovingly-crafted lines of poetic code.
